Aysel S. Upcycling customer

The redesign reused the strongest parts of my garment and clearly explained the limits of the fabric before I approved the work.

My finished garment was checked again at collection, and a small final adjustment was handled carefully without changing the agreed design.

About Needle Craft 58

Needle Craft 58 reshapes garments through careful alterations, redesign, and practical upcycling. We work by appointment and keep each project clear from the first review to final collection.

Book a fitting

We begin with a garment and material assessment, then discuss what can be changed, reused, or refined before any work is approved. That sets a realistic scope, timeline, and quote based on the piece itself.

Our focus is on dresses, skirts, shirts, jackets, and vintage garments that deserve a second life. Whether the goal is a better fit or a fresh silhouette, each project is guided by the fabric, construction, and available materials.

How it works

Our Process

Our process is straightforward, appointment-based, and built around the garment itself. Each step helps set realistic expectations before any remodelling begins.

01

Inquiry

Send an inquiry and tell us what you want changed. We use that first message to plan an assessment or fitting appointment.

02

Assessment

We inspect the garment, fabric, and construction to understand what can be altered or redesigned safely.

03

Review and Quote

After the review, we discuss the concept, scope, and quote so you can approve the direction before work begins.

04

Finish and Collect

Once the work is complete, we check the fit or finish again at collection and handle any small agreed adjustment.

Use cases

What We Can Help With

Our work suits pieces with history, character, or a need for a better fit. Each use case starts with assessment and ends with a clear next step.

Vintage clothing

Vintage Fit Updates

Vintage pieces often need a fit update that respects their original construction. We assess the garment first so the changes stay realistic and wearable.

  • Adjust the fit while keeping the garment's character
  • Update worn pieces for continued wear

Fabric Reuse Ideas

When a garment has enough usable material, we can explore remodelling ideas that turn it into something new without wasting the original piece.

  • Reuse usable fabric for a fresh accessory or new detail
  • Review the concept before materials and work are confirmed

Frequently asked

Common Questions

Here are clear answers to common questions about fittings, redesigns, and how we handle each garment.

How do you price a redesign project?

Yes. We assess the garment first, then discuss what is realistic based on the fabric, construction, and fit limits before quoting the work.

Can you guarantee the final fit?

No. We do not promise an exact fit before inspection, because seam allowances, structure, and the garment's condition affect the result.

When are appointments available?

We work by appointment from Monday to Friday and on Saturday by appointment. Sunday is closed.

Do you match original thread and trims?

Yes. We can match original thread and trim where available, but exact materials depend on confirmed stock and suitability.

Do you include cleaning or stain removal?

No. Cleaning, stain removal, and dyeing are not included unless separately confirmed as available.

Need More Details?

If you do not see your project here, send us a message with a few details. We will let you know what can be assessed at the fitting stage.
