How Garment Remodelling Works

Every redesign starts with a careful inspection of the garment, including its fabric, construction, and condition. This step helps define what can be adjusted, what can be reused, and where the material may limit the outcome.

We then review the design direction with you and outline the scope before work begins. For remodelling projects, the concept must be approved first, and any supplementary materials are discussed separately when needed.

Reuse what still works, reshape what no longer fits.

Needle Craft 58 turns existing garments into pieces that feel more current, more wearable, and better suited to your needs.

Our work includes dress and skirt remodelling, shirt and jacket restyling, vintage-garment fit updates, and fabric-reuse accessory projects. Where available, we also match original thread and trim to keep the finish consistent with the garment.

Because every piece is different, turnaround times and fit results depend on the garment itself. A written alteration scope helps keep the project clear, and final checks are completed at collection so any small finishing adjustment can be handled carefully.
